SCORING:
Please refrain from any form of sandbagging, as it is not advisable to be that individual. We will have each stage with distinct scoring criteria, ensuring that the final total score remains uncertain. Scoring will be conducted through Google Sheets by our professional in-house staff, who manages thousands of barrel racers and entries, awards, and placements.
We acknowledge the financial implications, but we will prioritize accuracy and thoroughness in our processes. We do not intend to be overly dramatic, as we are the chasers themselves.
The scoring system is divided into three divisions. The open division will include all entries. Your highest score will determine your position as the leader of the 1st division. The second division will have a score below the 1st division’s score, and the third division will follow the same pattern.
We will allocate three spots per division unless we receive over 100 entries. If we exceed 150 entries, we will allocate five spots per division.
Each division will receive a percentage of the total prize pool.
HOTELS/AIRBNB
There are nearby hotels, and Airbnbs within 30 minutes of the ranch. Please book in advance to insure availability. UTE Lake also has RV hookups and a lot of camping spots if you want to escape and be by some water! There will be a designated area for campers, and tents will be allowed. However, you are not permitted to wander the property. We will have security personnel on site to ensure everyone’s safety. For more information about this shoot, please contact us. This is a barrel racing format, unlike anything else. There will be no live scores online, and sandbagging is not allowed. We will display names and placements, but not scores!
